It is very unusual to hear that your hands feel sticky, so I wanted to check a couple of possibilities with you. It is very common that when a new customer is used to applying alcohol-based hand sanitizers, they can be applied many times per hours. Remember that when you apply my-shield Hand Sanitizer just once, it bonds to the outermost layer of your skin and remains intact and fully functional killing viruses, bacteria and mold for a full 4-6 hours and 5 hand washings with soap and water! If that film is renewed too often, the active ingredients build up and cannot dry completely or become sticky. I have actually done this on my own hands early in this game. The solution and actually the diagnosis of this problem is to simply rinse your hands with water and pat or rub them dry. When your hands are dry once again, they will have a fully intact protective layer, but you will have rinsed off all surplus product and your hands should once again feel smooth and silky. Right now in the middle of summer, I am reminded that if the surrounding humidity is high, it will take longer for the HS to dry and may feel a little sticky until it is fully dry. Alcohol does dry much faster, even in high humidity simply because it is alcohol, more flammable, toxic and ineffective going forward, but it does dry quickly!
